As most of you know, I have been a longtime advocate of Gaia Theory and what I call the "Gaia Paradigm." Recently, I was alerted to an NPR interview about the book Earth is a "living planet." Here's why that's important. I found - as I suspected - that author, Ferris Jabr's work is based on Gaia Theory. So, I contacted him and we're going to be finding a time to talk in August.
The reason we're waiting until August is that he is on an author tour which will include him appearing at Politics & Prose at the Wharf on July 19 7PM, with Atlantic staff writer Ross Andersen.

BTW - Ferris also did an interview with NPR's Science Friday and a flurry of articles in pretty big name publications (see below). So, he's getting a lot of traction! Please let me know if you have any questions.
